Group Riding
Safety! Safety! Safety! It is the most important aspect of riding
a motorcycle. To ensure that everyone rides safely while with a group of
motorcyclists, each rider must understand and follow the same guidelines
and hand signals. Riders need to know what the different
hand signals mean, how to pass slower vehicles, how to properly follow
another motorcycle and how to deal with a variety of other aspects of group riding.
In an effort to inform the public and our members we encourage everyone to
view the ten (10) minute video below. It is produced by the
Motorcycle Safety Foundation and it covers many aspects of group riding. You can also
click the link below to view an animation of commonly used riding hand signals
produced by ridemyown.com. Remember, riding safe is no accident.
It takes skill, knowledge and practice.
